GISHWHES. Otherwise known as “The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen” or, that thing that Castiel from Supernatural keeps talking about.

Do I really need to tell you what it is? I think the title is kind of self-explanatory. Misha Collins likes scavenger hunts and he decided to make one that can be played with international teams with insanely random things to find/achieve.

I first learned of it last year when I stayed up to date with the happenings of all the people I follow on Twitter when I couldn’t be bothered studying or doing any work (so basically, all the time). Well to be fair, I did a lot of work, most of it just involved cleaning up the messes other people left us in. Sometimes I just decided it would be prudent to give them more rope and hope they eventually hung themselves while I put my feet up and ignored the screams for help. I have 60km to drive each way to work now, so I’ve been catching up on my podcasts. I recently listened to his Nerdist podcast from last year where he was talking about it and it sounded awesome, so… I’ve just officially registered to give it a go!
